General Care

If you require advice on the general care of your cat please do not hesitate to book an appointment with our Veterinary Surgeons 01642 760 999.

Flea Protection:

Frontline Combo is a flea protection for your cat and your home. We recommend Frontline Combo as it contains an additional component that kills the egg and larve stage of a flea. It is also very effective against ticks. Your cat should be protected from fleas every 6 weeks.

Worming:

Adult cats should be wormed twice a year.  If your cat is a hunting cat then you should worm your cat every 3 month.  There are many different products available but we recommend Milbemax, Profender and Panacur, the vet will advise you on which product is best for your cat.

Broadline:

(combined worm, flea & tick protection)

Worms, flea and tick protection.  Easy one monthly application on back of neck.

Annual Health Check and Booster Vaccination:

It is important for the well being of your cat that an annually booster vaccination is given.  Our vaccines protect your cat against Cat Flu, Feline Enteritis, Feline Leukaemia and Chlamydia.  We strongly recommend that all outdoor cats are protected against Feline Leukaemia.  We will send you a reminder when your annual booster is due.  An appointment is needed for your booster; the vet will give your cat a full health check along with the booster.

Identichip:

An Identichip WITH thermal technology is a great way to keep track of your cat.
