Care for your Cat

Keep your cat fit and healthy

Routine treatments are very important to keep your cat healthy. We have produced this factsheet to help guide you through the treatments needed.

If you have a new kitten take a look at our New Kitten Advice.

Flea Protection

Your cat should be protected from fleas every 6 weeks. Talk to us and we will be able to recommend some treatments for your cat.

Worming

Adult cats should be wormed twice a year. If your cat is a hunting cat then you should worm your cat every 3 months. There are many different products available and the vet will advise you on which product is best for your cat.

Annual Health Check and Booster Vaccination

It is important for the wellbeing of your cat that an annual booster vaccination is given. Our vaccines protect your cat against Cat Flu, Feline Enteritis, Feline Leukaemia and Chlamydia. We strongly recommend that all outdoor cats are protected against Feline Leukaemia. We will send you a reminder when your annual booster is due. An appointment is needed for your booster; the vet will give your cat a full health check along with the booster.

Identichip

An Identichip WITH thermal technology is a great way to keep track of your cat.

Contact us on 01642 760 999 to book your cat in for any of the above.
